Established in 2001 in the original Brandon Mill General Store.

Art Bomb Studios was established in 2001 by Diane Kilgore Condon. She purchased the former Brandon Mill General Store building in West Greenville and worked with a handful of artists/friends to transform the building into a thriving artist studio. They erected studio walls, built out a gallery and planted a lovely Italian garden in the back.

That spirit of collective hard work continues today. Artists at the studio get together regularly for studio work days. They clean up the building, make improvements and add surprising details throughout. When you visit, look for our mascot Hastings above a piano that’s decorated with a touch from artists throughout the years. Or, search for the porthole that leads into a kids’ room under the stairs.

Since the studio’s inception, it’s hosted a family of lost and loved dogs. Among them, Dixon, Maggie, Hammie, Casper, Leon, Tommy, Ingrid Polka Dot. They are our muses, confidantes and friends. You may notice them hanging out on the roof during our art shows.

While the studio is a working studio and open by appointment only, we do host three annual shows - Spring Show in May, Metropolitan Arts Council Open Studios in November and the Luminary Tour in December.

For the Spring Show, we show all new work and offer free music, drinks and food. During Open Studios, we open our studios to anyone wanting to learn more about our process, artwork and artists. Our Luminary Tour is our holiday show - we line the streets of West Greenville with luminaries to show new work, drink hot chocolate and decorate the Christmas tree.
